The Dog and Badger, a grade II listed building, dates back to circa 1390. It is located between Marlow and Henley-on-Thames in the picturesque village of Medmenham, just a ten-minute stroll from The River Thames and within The Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Following an extensive refurbishment, The Dog and Badger re-opened in July 2015 as a stunning bar and restaurant. In May 2016 we will be opening six new super-stylish en-suite rooms which will be located in the adjacent, quintessentially English, Gillman’s Cottage. Blending the best of period features with a contemporary finish, guests can expect all the trappings of a luxury boutique hotel.
The Medmenham Suite located on the first floor of The Dog and Badger is perfect for intimate meetings and dinners. The suite consists of three inter-connecting rooms plus a cloakroom, this layout affords you the flexibility to use the space in whatever way best suits your individual requirements. Our bespoke oak bar is perfect for a private reception before your meeting or dinner, the adjacent room with its comfortable armchairs and polished wood tables will be set up for your function and the Moroccan Lounge with its jewel coloured sofas is the perfect place to relax over coffee. Both the Moroccan Lounge and the dining/meeting room are equipped with Ultra HD (4K) television screens disguised as mirrors. These screens can be utilised as televisions or they will wirelessly connect to any Apple device to play films or other videos. They also connect to wireless equipped laptops enabling Power Point presentations to be played
