Drawing on our experience of creating corporate team building events and combining this with our knowledge of the most efficient and successful ways of fundraising we have created an list of fundraising options. The purpose of these are to not only provide a unique experience but at the same time allow the opportunity to raise much needed funds for their chosen charity, i.e. you!

All activities will be fully managed by Team Activity Group to incorporate an event manager who will be onsite to set up the activities well in advance of the guests’ arrival. A full briefing will be carried out at the start of the programme to incorporate safety points and health and safety criteria.

Raft building & racing

Teams will be given half an hour to build their rafts, and design a flag which will be attached to their raft. They will race their rafts from the start line, around a buoy and back to the start line, untie the raft and put the equipment back as requested by the officials. The whole team will then run through the finish line with their flag, the first team to cross the finish line is the winner.

Raft Building is not only an exhilarating and enjoyable fundraising activity for men and women of all ages and for children aged eight upwards; it can also raise thousands of pounds for your good cause.

It is essential for the raft building teams to work together; making use of each member’s individual strengths in order to ensure that their team delivers the best possible performance when building, racing and dismantling their raft. The winning team will be the team that successfully works together; communicating with each other, to ensure that they work as a unified team. Raft Building Events offer your supporters a creative and exciting exercise in teambuilding as well as an excellent fundraising opportunity for you.

We suggest you recruit crews of up to eight people for your event. (A minimum of four and a maximum of six team members will race on the raft). Having teams of eight members will also help to maximise the amount of sponsorship money you can raise. The minimum number in a team is four.

To maximise the fundraising potential for raft building you could increase the events capacity by running more than one session during the day / evening thus minimising our kit and staffing costs.

On arrival each Team Captain will need to report to TAG race control to register their team. Once all teams have registered they will be briefed about the event format and safety requirements before starting on the build of their rafts.

Archery

A perfect activity to run within a larger fundraising event or on its own, all participants will receive a health and safety briefing and detailed instructions on how to shoot before taking part in some practice shots prior to us scoring the participants. Depending on the format of the event participants could be charged for the number of shots they want to take or pay a set amount to enter the whole event and utilise the activities on offer. For those more competitive participants, a finale could take place at the end of the event for the top scorers with a prize on offer or spot prizes could be on offer during the day for participants taking part in a one shot challenge (an additional entry fee could apply to this) where they need to hit a certain spot on the target face or a balloon that has been stuck to the top of the target.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting

A perfect activity to run within a larger fundraising event or on its own, all participants will receive a health and safety briefing and detailed instructions on how to shoot before taking part in some practice shots prior to us scoring the participants. Depending on the format of the event participants could be charged for the number of shots they want to take or pay a set amount to enter the whole event and utilise the activities on offer. For those more competitive participants, a finale could take place at the end of the event for the top scorers with a prize on offer or spot prizes could be on offer during the day for participants achieving a predetermined score.

Human Table Football

Perfect to run within a larger fundraising event or on its own, all participants will receive a health and safety briefing and detailed instructions on how to play before taking part in several matches (knockout option also available) as a part of the competition.

Multi Activity Days

Participants can pay to undertake a combination of all, or any number of the following- dragon boating, raft building, archery, laser clay pigeon shooting and human table football. This could work either on a come and have a go basis, or on a structured rotational basis; we will be happy to recommend the most suitable option based on your numbers and the format you want the day to take.
