Give a Helping Hand

This unique and highly rewarding experience is designed for teams who truly want to make a difference.

The task is to construct a prosthetic hand that will be distributed to a child or adult that has lost a limb. Hands are delivered around the developing world, along with a personal, heartfelt message from the team for each recipient.

As well as proving that our attitude to learning and our determination to tackle problems can make a positive, life-changing difference to people we haven’t even met, this is an experience that will live on in the minds of your team for years to come.

The session begins with a tailored keynote speech to set the scene followed by full instructional material and all the equipment they need being made available to delegate teams. Each team can then build their ‘helping hand’ in around 60 minutes.

This heartwarming activity is an excellent opportunity to bring your people together in pursuit of helping others, strengthening their own working relationships in the process.

Available for any number of delegates, organised into teams, each with the materials and equipment to make one prosthetic hand.

Following your event, prosthetics are quality assessed and checked by a team of engineers to ensure they are fit for purpose. Within weeks, they are distributed through our partner clinic and charity organisations to recipients of all ages in Uganda, Cambodia, Vietnam, and India, who have been victims of violent crime, agricultural accidents, electrocution, or who have been born with life limiting congenital conditions.
