Heston Blumenthal eat your heart (that’s made from fruit) out

  • Numbers:

    from 16-300 people

  • Location:

    indoors or outdoors

  • Duration

    2-3 hours

Looking for something a little different? How about combining both science and cooking with our molecular cooking class: an activity that really brings the wow factor.
With a nod to such culinary pioneers as Ferran Adria and Heston Blumenthal, guests in this challenge will compete against each other to recreate molecular-inspired gastronomy.  Our head chef will teach participants a variety of classical and contemporary techniques. A few items on the day’s menu include:
A bucks fizz lava lamp, which spherifies on contact with Prosecco
Turning bloody mary cocktails into solid canapes via gelification
Hot and cold pickling methods
‘Reverse eggs’... eggs, but not as you’d imagine
Dry ice lollies
Chocolate tempering using seed crystallisation
If your teams are used to events, this is one that very few of them are likely to have tried before.
