Change the Lives of an Entire Community

Water means life but for many children and adults, chronic shortages of clean and safe water are threatening their existence.

Imagine the impact on your team of being able to make a real difference to individuals, families and communities where fresh water cannot be taken for granted.

In this life-changing team building and corporate social responsibility activity, you will build and donate a water filtration system that can save the lives of an entire community located in developing countries on the other side of the world.

Teams will work together to overcome construction challenges, learning to collaborate, innovate and create together. They’ll write a personal note that will be gifted to the family who receive the filter, building authentic connections across the globe. A tracking locator number can be used to enable team members to follow the journey of their filter and photos of it being delivered will be provided after the event.

Today one billion people, worldwide, have no access to safe drinking water and diseases caused by bacteria in water are the biggest killer of children under five. This session represents an opportunity to make a real and tangible difference. It has empathy and emotional intelligence at its heart and will allow your people to explore the importance of legacy and purpose.

The session consists of a co-authored keynote speech, designed to bring context and relevance to your particular event. Delegates work in teams, with all the instructions and equipment provided to needed to build two life-saving water systems per session, one emergency filtration unit and one household water filtration system, plus some artwork that will be used to decorate an additional filtration system designed for use in households, schools and hospitals.
